Fort Nottingham (museum and bush reserve)
A garrison post established in 1856 to protect settlers in the Drakensberg foothills. A small museum covers the history of the settlement. The nearby Fort Nottingham bush reserve (Ezemvelo) has a public picnic site and the 2 km Tony Kerr Trail through wooded hillside, with some steep sections.
