Balgowan

Balgowan is a farming valley in the KZN Midlands on the R103, in uMngeni Local Municipality. Farms are mainly timber (pine and eucalyptus), dairy and cattle, and the soft-drinks maker Frankie's is based here. It is best known for Michaelhouse, an Anglican boys' boarding school founded in 1896 that moved to Balgowan in 1901.
